Joyeoux is a marketing and communications agency based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on the traditional territory of the Mi’kmaq people. We were built to serve organizations whose missions deserve communications as thoughtful and purposeful as the work itself.

Ayo Ogunbosi built Joyeoux on a conviction that has only deepened with every engagement: the organizations doing the most consequential work are often the ones least equipped to communicate it. His life’s work has been closing that gap.
With over a decade of experience spanning creative writing, videography, and marketing strategy, Ayo brings something that cannot be templated: the ability to hold narrative intelligence and disciplined strategic thinking in the same hand. His campaigns connect deeply because they are built from genuine understanding, not assumptions about the communities they are meant to reach.
Before founding Joyeoux, Ayo developed his expertise across the non-profit, creative, and community sectors, learning what it actually takes to earn trust within communities, navigate complexity with limited resources, and tell a story that honors the people at its center. That formation is not incidental to his work. It is the work.
At the Africadian Empowerment Academy, Ayo led a full rebranding transition from East Preston Empowerment Academy (EPEA) to AEA, designing and implementing the brand and communications strategy from the ground up. He subsequently delivered an ongoing scope of work spanning videography, social media management, and website management, including a credential video campaign created to build funder and donor confidence.
For Dalhousie University’s School of Social Work, Ayo produced a nine-part documentary series capturing the lived stories at the heart of social work practice in Nova Scotia. That series is now in active use as a learning resource within the School’s programs, a measure of impact that goes well beyond a deliverable.
Ayo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and a Graduate Certificate in Digital Marketing from Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC). He currently serves on the Board of the Halifax Christian Academy and NOVAN, bringing the same strategic commitment he brings to client work to the institutions shaping his community.
